The story behind our company
SwiftRelo is based in Hong Kong & Macau and was established in 2010 to serve people who want a quality move for a competitive price.
We have grown very quickly consistently delivering on service and price and are now regarded as one of Hong Kong & Macau’s leading movers. This is reflected in us becoming a part of the Harmony Relocation Network – a badge of honour within the removals industry – in 2016.

Expertise: You will have a dedicated relocation consultant who will assess the nature of your move and provide you with a tailored solution that meets your needs.
Professional Pack: On the day of the pack, an experienced English speaking supervisor will ensure that every item is packed with its journey and destination in mind - whether it is crystal glasses or your favourite antique.
Customer care: Once you have decided to use SwiftRelo, you will be allocated a customer service manager who will ensure that you are ready for your move and answer any questions you may have throughout the move.

When is the best time to plan my move?
The amount of notice required depends on the nature of your move. Although we can often be more flexible, we recommend that you book your move a month prior to departure. This allows us timegested lead times will allow us to secure and confirm your booking for your preferred dates and give you sufficient time to prepare for your move. However, it is really important to allow a greater lead time if you plan on moving during the peak summer period.
How do I obtain a removal quotation?
You can contact us to speak to a relocation consultant who will be able to answer any initial questions that you may have and who will arrange a convenient day & time to visit your home. They will assess the volume of items that need moving and be able to provide you with a free quotation. Alternatively, please complete the online quotation request form and we will contact you to discuss your requirements.
What is included in the quotation?
Your quote will be built around your particular requirements. Unless otherwise specified, the cost will be inclusive of:
a) Packing materials
b) Full packing service (including basic disassembly)
c) Shipping / Customs Clearance at destination
d) Unpack service (including basic reassembly)
How long will it take for my items to arrive at destination by sea?
This depends both on the destination and method of shipping.
If you are sending items as FCL or LCL then dispatch would be immediate and typically delivery would be 2-4 weeks within Asia and 6-10 weeks for the rest of the world.
If you are sending a smaller shipment as part of a Baggage/Groupage shipment then items will first be stored in our warehouse and only dispatched when we have a full container of items to send. before being dispatched to the final destination. Timings differ but typically are 3-8 weeks within Asia and 7-14 weeks for the rest of the world.
If timing is of key importance then please highlight this to our team and we can check for more accurate timings and advise best options based on your situation.

Are there items I should not ship or cannot take with me to my new home?
This differs both on the basis of the shipment method (eg air shipments are very restrictive as no batteries or liquids can be shipped) and also depending on the country that you are sending items to (eg certain countries will not allow alcohol).
Please refer to our customs regulations page for more information or else contact our team who will be happy to answer questions and provide information as required.
Does SwiftRelo arrange full packing and unpack service?
We always provide a full pack service unless otherwise specified (eg baggage/self-pack shipments). We can also provide one box delivery ahead of packing for no additional charge in case you wish to pack any items yourself. Once shipped, we will either provide full unpack service or partial unpack service (furniture and fragile items only) depending on the destination.
Please contact our team for any further questions that you may have. unpacking service unless requested otherwise. We have appointed partners throughout the world that have been carefully selected to ensure that you are provided with the highest quality of service.
Can SwiftRelo help me to ship my vehicle?
Yes we ship many cars and can either send by itself in a 20ft container or else in a 40ft container along with your household goods. We build a wooden partition to separate the household goods from the vehicle.
Please note though that it is not always practical to ship a vehicle due to customs requirements in some countries.

Can I bring my pet with me?
Many people send their pets abroad when leaving Hong Kong and we would be happy to assist with this requirement. Although we do not deal with this side of removals inhouse, we will provide contact details of pet movers in Hong Kong who will be able to provide a quotation.
How do I pay for my removal?
Unless you have a corporate account with SwiftRelo or have otherwise agreed different terms, we require full payment upfront. We can accept payment by bank transfer, cheque or credit card (although please note that credit card payments are processed through Paypal and have a 3.0% surcharge).
Do you provide storage facilities?
We offer full climate controlled and air conditioned warehouse storage facilities. Whether you are looking for short term or long term storage solutions, irrespective of the size of your storage requirements, we can help.
